I have always been an IE user since it was first available. I opened the site this morning and all my navigation had disappeared! Trying not to panic, I tried deactivating and re-activating all the various plug-in features and made sure I had not changed something improperly in the CSS file. Then the thought struck me, let’s see what happens in Firefox. Whew, to my relief, the site navigation is (and apparently had been!) functioning properly. Not necessarily to my surprise, my IT contacts are right…Firefox shows my web pages cleaner and with all the intended features, while IE7 does not. I don’t think I will tell them (the IT guys) that I now agree with them, but at least you and I know that if something is off in IE, take a look in Firefox. It doesn’t mean that a fix cannot be pursued, but at least nothing has been lost.
